CLUB WOTEVER
Hi all beautiful Wotevers*!
Summer is here and I hope that all
of my fellow hay-fever sufferers soon can get rid of our pills, tissues
and red noses/eyes! For the rest, enjoy the greenery. To get away from
it all we take Club Wotever down to the sea side! And do more indoors
parties in the coming weeks.

1. Club Wotever
Brighton 24 June
We have found a really cool place in
an old church very central in Brighton. It is two floors, both with
their own sound system!! Top floor will be hosted by the lovely Lakuti
from Sud records spinning the best hottest of electro, guest on this
floor will be Wanker Boy – also know for the club Fuck the Pain Away
in Brighton. He spin the best of the latest, most creative tunes. One
floor will be hosting Sickboy and his collection of rock, indie grrl
riot classice smattered with punk hits. It is dirty, filthy and hard
core. Theme a Midsummer Nights Dream Party, it’s all about wilderness,
sexiness and whish-full thinking on the longest of the summernights.

15 JULY
Following on from the huge sell-out
success of the Wotever Empire event we put on in March, we present a
whole new massive multi-level performance event not to be missed. This
time round, Wotever Empire goes queer musical! We present to you the
multiple musical stylings of some of our favorite musically inspired
performances. We have Rock, we have Roll, and we have much much more
in-between and beyond – from punk rockers to singer-songwriters, from
musical storytellers to vocal-stylists, from cabaret-ists to lounge
singers and so much more. All introduced, for your aural delight by
the impeccably pitched Miss File. Amongst the fabulous acts that have
already been confirmed are Anat Ben David, Lesley Woods of The Au Pairs
fame, punk-rockers The Mindless Ones, cabaret sing/songwriter Luke Meredith,
our favorite super DIVA Dyke Marilyn, the fabulous Gertrude, the vocal-musings
and guitar strummings of Miss Josephine Wilson and Mr Graeme Wall, and
much much more.
And what is a veritable festival of
queer musical talent like this without a fantabulous after-party? Well,
you are all invited to join us for the inclusive exclusive after-show
party in the ground floor bar featuring yet more Wotever shenanigans
and yet more musical accompaniment from dj’s SexyRubberSole and Grae
Wall (head honcho of the Trashville nights), playing into the wee hours.
