The first time I heard of Wigstock was from Steffan in 1997 after a visit to New York. Then in the same year from Marlayna Lacie in her report from San Fransisco. Frederike de Jonge contributed excellent pictures through edition 7, 8 & 9. In the year 2000 New York paid a dragerati tribute to the organiser Lady Bunny with a more bunnies than Australia ever saw. Yet Bunny pulled the curtains in 2001. “Leave wanting more hunny bunny”.

THE LAST WIGSTOCK EVER

I am still recovering from the fact that I, indeed, attended the last Wigstock ever. After 17 years Lady Bunny said farewell to her out of control teenager......

Quite a feat to have accomplished all those years! This bash was no different from the previous! It was superb on all levels. Top-entertainment.

I am honoured to have been a small part of the party and share this with you through my photographs.....

I thank Lady Bunny for all the years of Wigstock and giving us such a splendid opportunity to 'wig out' & have some good decadent fun. Also, a big thank you goes out to the entertainers who have helped make Wigstock LEGENDARY !!!!!!!!!!!!
